As the distinguished winner of the 2023 Luxury Lifestyle Award PT, Quinta da Joaninha was as a captivating project where we initially crafted an original design before the property changed hands. Subsequently, we were privileged to undertake a re-design for the new owner, showcasing its outstanding design and sophistication.

Constructed in the 1960s, this 1.2-hectare small farm boasted a distinctive architectural charm. The residence featured a unique design with a quasi-modern box housing the bedrooms, elegantly perched on a robust tectonic stone base. Our refurbishment approach involved preserving the essence of the original architecture while smoothly transitioning it into the 21st century. This was achieved by enlarging the windows to invite more natural light, minimizing the exposed stone within the house, and modernizing the layout of bedrooms and living spaces.
 

To add a touch of sophistication, we incorporated oak paneling and utilized four distinct types of Portuguese stone, weaving them seamlessly into the design to create distinctive bathrooms and noteworthy features throughout the entire project.
